Connecting with our Communities
The Friendship Project works within the dynamic community of the Comox Valley, building relationships with individuals, organizations and businesses. From button making workshops with youth groups, to yoga studio partnerships, to the great downtown businesses where we spend time with friends in safe and inclusive environments, we are very grateful to our community partners. Below are a few examples of ways in which community can become involved:
CONNECTING WITH OTHER YOUNG ADULTS
The Friendship Project is interested in connecting with other groups of young adults. We have met with youth groups in the past to work on art projects, and to participate in various outdoor activities. Would your group like to connect with the Friendship Project?
LEARNING SERIES
Once a year the Friendship Project hosts a learning series on a topic of relevance for the young adults. Last year we hosted the 'Relationship and Sexuality Learning Series' with guest facilitators from varying backgrounds. We are always on the lookout for new learning opportunities for the young adults. If there is a topic of relevance you would like to share with the group, please email us with details.
SPORTS, ART, MUSIC, GARDENING, AND MORE!
There is a great diversity of interests within the Project! If your group would like to connect, we would love to hear from you.
